It's a tale as old as time... I've been slacking on my blogging. For years now. And this makes me sad. I like to be able to look back on my blog and see what I've done. It's easy to remember the big moments - the vacations, the celebrations, etc. but we so often forget all the little moments that make life so wonderful.
So I'm hoping a prettier, shinier new blog will help inspire me to write more and share more. So let's get started.
I finally feel like I've gotten Summit's exercise needs covered. It took a while to get into the rhythm of things. But between off leash runs with the girls, the odd morning at daycare and our new flyer route, he is settling nicely in the evenings but is still raring to go at a moment's notice. I don't quite feel the girls are getting enough but in reality Coulee is probably getting as much as she needs.
I have to say, getting a flyer route was one of my better ideas. I really don't enjoy leash walks and the leash manners and social skills of the girls really reflects that. Summit is getting exposed to lots of things and is turning into a great companion. His default is still to stop and bark when he's uncertain but he's really easy to redirect and settle down.
